Learning all things Israel

We had a really lovely day yesterday when Sarah Livne (Ameer's mum) came in to teach us some wonders about Israel and the language of Hebrew.  We learned so much and Ilay was our translator in the afternoon when we did a reflection about our learning.  I can't wait to have other families come and share their cultures with us.

We wrote some fabulous poems in our first week as part of our goal of getting to know each other.  They were fun and the children all did a fabulous job.  Here is a sample of their work and they are all displayed on the wall in the classroom.
